Round Two of Greater Grants now open

14 January 2019

The second round of Southern Grampians Shire Council’s Grants Program is now open and community groups are being encouraged to apply for funding for projects that benefit the community.
The Greater Grants Program is designed to help build our region by giving community groups a funding source to undertake new or growing initiatives, projects, or events that benefit the Southern Grampians Shire.
Southern Grampians Shire Council Mayor Mary-Ann Brown said the Greater Grants Program is a wonderful way for Council to provide financial assistance to our community groups and organisations.

“Each year, we contribute close to $200,000 to community infrastructure, events and other projects through our Greater Grants program.

“The projects and events we support reflect the tremendous contribution that volunteers make in our community. These volunteers are the backbone of our community and Council are proud to support these groups and individuals to achieve these events, projects and initiatives which are so important to our region,” Cr Brown said.

Groups awarded funding in the first round of Greater Grants for 2018/19 include:
