Council Meetings

Members of the public are most welcome to attend council meetings. We also livestream them on Facebook.

Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers at 5 Market Place, Hamilton.

Unscheduled meetings are held from time to time for specific purposes. The Local Government Act 2020 provides for confidential information to be considered at a meeting closed to members of the public.

There is no Council meeting held in January.
