Cr Robertson is a farmer in Coleraine and has been involved in agriculture for more than 40 years, with a special interest in research and development.
He has held roles with the Victorian Farmers Federation, Wool Council of Australia and Rural Industries Skills Training, where he was involved with developing a program for delivery to the grazing industry. David was also chairman of Evergraze, a project developing pasture systems that complemented the animal system. He also ran the Life Time Wool Project at his property at Astral Park, which resulted in the development of the Life Time Ewe Management Progam.
David has also had significant involvement in local sport, from the local tennis club, to coaching hockey at junior level and football at senior level, to being the President of the Hamilton Golf Club.
