A long-time resident of Dunkeld, Cr Brown lives on the family farm and is the owner of a financial services business.

She is chair of the Dunkeld Community Centre Committee and volunteers at the Dunkeld Visitor Information Centre.

In the past, Cr Brown was a board member and president at Western District Health Service and president of the Dunkeld Progress Association.
