The Cox Street Redevelopment Project will improve the condition and appearance of Cox Street between Ballarat Road/French Street (location of traffic lights) and Lonsdale Street, Hamilton.

Works include:

• Undergrounding power lines and installing new Telstra lines (east side only)
• Replacing the road pavement on the eastern lane of Cox Street.
• Building new three-metre-wide footpaths, with new kerbing.
• Adding median strips and street lights.
• General landscaping.

The project is jointly funded by Southern Grampians Shire and the Victorian Government.

Please note that heavy vehicles are not permitted in the Hamilton CBD at any time.
