Christmas Window Competition Winners Announced!

The annual Christmas Window Decoration Competition is a Southern Grampians Shire tradition that we really look forward to around here, and this year was an absolute cracker.
We had 19 entries from across the Shire, shops and businesses that put in an enormous effort to bring joy and spirit to our streets.

Council Awards Contract for Cricket Net Upgrades at Pedrina Park

Southern Grampians Shire Council awarded the contract for the Pedrina Park Cricket Net Renewal of $162,230 at last night’s Council meeting.

Following a budget submission by the St Andrews Cricket Club, Council allocated funding in the 2024/25 budget for the much-needed upgrades to the cricket nets and a contract was awarded to SJ & CE Van Kalken.

Ring in 2025 with Fireworks at Lake Hamilton!

The Southern Grampians Shire Council fireworks display is back to light up the skies this New Years Eve with a new location at Lake Hamilton.
The fireworks will be launched from a pontoon on the Lake, providing the perfect vantage point for spectators to enjoy the show.
The display will kick off at 10:00pm on Tuesday 31 December 2024 and promises to bring in the new year in style.
