Mark your calendars for Saturday, 29 June, as we bring you the incredible Science Discovery Dome for one day only at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre (HPAC).

This portable planetarium offers an unforgettable journey through the wonders of the Earth, the Universe, dinosaurs, eclipses, and more!

This Southern Grampians Shire event is a collaboration between HPAC and the Hamilton Library.

“We have a jam-packed program this School Holidays and we feel like we’re really kicking it off in style with the Science Discovery Dome,” said Senior Library Coordinator, Kelly Pitt-Lancaster.

“There is something for all ages within the program schedule and it’s all FREE, so we can't wait to see you there for a day filled with discovery and adventure!"

  • Sessions: 9 different 30-minute showings
  • Cost: Free!
  • Tickets: Limited to 50 per session – book now through the HPAC box office

  • 11:00am – 11:30am: The Universe, Evolution, and the Big Bang
  • 12:00pm – 12:30pm: Life and Exploration in Space
  • 12:30pm – 1:00pm: To World's Beyond
  • 1:00pm - 1:30pm: The Stars and the Formation of the Solar System
  • 1:30pm – 2:00pm: From Earth to the Universe
  • 2:00pm – 2:30pm: Dino Planet
  • 3:00pm – 3:30pm: Future Earth
  • 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Earth's Wild Ride
