We recognise that starting a new business can be overwhelming, so we want to take the stress out of getting a permit and make sure you get the permits you need as smoothly as possible.
The Business Facilitation Office works with other departments at Council to work through different permits that may be required.
Our team is here to make this happen and will help you at each stage of the process:
- Before you apply, we’ll help you get the advice you need to apply for a permit.
- Once you have applied, we’ll guide you through the process that gets you your permits.
- Once you receive all your permits, we’ll help you celebrate with posting your business profile to our business directory, social media channels and flagging other Council services that can help you grow and succeed.
As you may need different permits to get your business up and running, applicants are encouraged to use our Self Assessment Tool to identify the permits you might need. Following self-assessment, a Council officer will make contact with you.
