Who can enter?
Anyone can register to take part - not just Southern Grampians Shire residents. Voting is open to everyone.
Registration:
Buskers must register by Thursday, 28 November 2024, via the online form here.
Voting will open when the first performance occurs (between 29 Nov and 21 Dec) and must be completed by 21 December 2024 via QR code and online form.
Performance Dates:
Performances will be taking place between 29 Nov - 21 Dec throughout the CBD.
Judging:
Each performer is issued with a QR Code to display for the public to scan and vote. The winner is the performer with the most votes.
Prizes:
- 1st - $300 Buy Local voucher (redeemable at any Southern Grampians Shire business)
- 2nd - $200 Buy Local voucher (redeemable at any Southern Grampians Shire business)
- 3rd - $ 100 Buy Local voucher (redeemable at any Southern Grampians Shire business)
- Youth Award - $250 Harvey Norman voucher (u18 performer)
Winner:
The winner will be announced via Council's social media outlets on 23 December 2024.
Equipment:
Please note that participating buskers must provide their own equipment for the performance.
Social Media Promotions:
To maximise your exposure and engagement, we will be actively promoting the Buskers Competition on our social media channels. We encourage you to share your participation with your followers as well. Use the hashtag #HamiltonBuskers and Facebook tag @southerngrampiansshire insta @sthgrampiansshire to increase visibility.
Feel free to share behind-the-scenes glimpses, rehearsal snippets, or any exciting updates leading up to the event.
