If you have items suitable for reuse and would like to avoid paying disposal fees at the Hamilton landfill, we recommend taking them to the 'Big Green Shed'.
Operated by Nigretta of Hamilton, a local organisation providing work opportunities to people with disabilities, the Big Green Shed sells items that can be given a second life and divert them from landfill.
They also accept e-waste at no charge.
