Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill two (2) vacancies for Council’s Audit & Risk Committee. This Committee comprises of two (2) Councillor’s and three (3) Independent Members.
The Committee meets four times each year with a possible additional meeting for consideration of financial statements.
As a member of the Committee, you will contribute your specialist skills and knowledge to matters which assist Council in the oversight of internal and external audit functions, financial reporting, risk management processes and oversight of internal control systems.
The successful applicants will demonstrate competencies which contribute to the operations of the Committee.
