Darren is responsible for the management of Finance, Business Systems, Digital Transformation, Human Resource Management, Health and Safety, Risk and Workforce Development.
Prior to his appointment in February 2023, Darren was the General Manager of Corporate and Regulatory Services at the City of Mount Gambier.
After a long career in the private and commercial sector he joined the local government sector as the Manager Organisational Development at Warrnambool City Council and then went onto the role of Manager Organisational Development at Southern Grampians Shire Council.
He is extremely passionate about the region and building community relationships. Darren was born and raised in Hamilton and excited to be able to support the delivery of services to our community that improves the livability for our residents.
