If you are organising an event in the Southern Grampians Shire which takes place in 2018, be sure to notify Council and take advantage of the invaluable free marketing offered as part of the Autumn-Winter tourism and events marketing campaign.
The backbone of this campaign is a print and digital events guide, which will feature our entire calendar of upcoming events between March and August 2018. Thousands of copies of the guide are printed and distributed to Visitor Information Centres across the region, to local accommodation, attractions and hospitality providers as well as to new residents. It is also used at trade shows, media launches, conferences, regional promotions and in digital marketing aimed at reaching audiences in Melbourne, regional Victoria and South Australia.
Southern Grampians Shire Council Mayor, Cr Mary-Ann Brown urged all event organisers to take advantage of the opportunity to market their events through Council’s event guide.
“The Greater Hamilton Events Guide is a great way for residents and visitors to find out what events are happening across the region over the next six months.
“Events are a key driver to economic prosperity for the region. Showcasing our diverse range of events helps to position the Greater Hamilton region as an exciting and rewarding place to live, work, learn and invest, which ultimately benefits our entire community.
“We are fortunate to have access to a wide variety of quality events in the Greater Hamilton region supported by hard working local volunteers and I encourage organisations and groups from across the Shire to register their events and festivals for regional promotion in the Greater Hamilton Events Guide,” said Cr Brown.
